Leaf Halelujiah (formerly Leaf Newman) is a visionary artist whose music serves as a spiritual and cultural soundtrack for restoration, love, and empowerment.A seasoned performer and songwriter, among other accomplishments, Leaf guest-starred alongside Common and Saul Williams on an NAACP-nominated episode of the hit sitcom Girlfriends and won the reality singing competition show Welcome to Dreamland on BET.Currently, Leaf is a Ph.D. student at Georgia State University, conducting her dissertation research on the empowering impact of music.
